The iABED Industries Aluminium Baffled Sump is designed to be a true baffled oil sump for all EA888 platforms.

Features:

• Full Aluminium construction which replaces the weak OEM plastic sump
• CNC Machined pan rail and oil level sensor provision plate
• Aluminium construction on outer body for strength, longevity and resistance to corrosion
• Prevents oil from sliding up the walls of the crankcase through hard cornering
• Hinged flaps maintains oil around the OE pickup pipe at all times making it the perfect addition for those that use their car for fast-road or track use
• 0.8L increased oil capacity without raising the minimum height of the oil level
• Provision for OEM oil level sensor so no modifications are needed
• ¾-16 Magnetic drain plug as standard

Please Note

- Factory GPF model vehicles require the oil level sensor to be modified slightly when installing this sump. Please download the file below for instruction.

- The stock plastic guard / windage tray will need removing when installing this product. The iABED sump will not fit with this in place!

- The factory sump bolts are used to resecure the new sump. X1 bolt will need cutting down slightly to fit. As you reuse your existing stock sump securing bolts, no sump securing bolts are supplied in this kit!

- If you have a Polo 6C GTI 1.8 EA888.3, Or an Audi S1 you will notice your vehicle isnt listed above - You can fit this sump however you also need to fit the Golf GTI/R oil pickup pipe, part number 06K115251J The sump will not fit with the standard pickup pipe fitted on these two vehicles!! - If your vehicle is listed above then you will not need to do this!!
