Without doubt, the most popular brake kit we offer for the PQ35 / MQB platform. The calipers included in this kit come brand new from Aston Martin, and feature on the DB9. These are the same 4 pot calipers as the Audi TTRS 8J / RS3 8P and are made by Brembo. The piston sizes are matched extremely well to provide a pedal feel that is just like OEM. The calipers are offered in black or red with 'Aston Martin' logos as they come from Aston Martin. However we can offer these calipers in almost any colour with or without almost any logo. Just add 'custom colour/logo' option using the dropdowns - let your creativity go wild. (See pictures of examples from over the years)

The VBT caliper carriers are made from high strength zinc coated steel. The supplied front brake lines are made in house at AKS using our onsite HEL Tooling. The lines have stainless steel fittings and are finished in their carbon black sheathing. However we can produce in any colour that HEL offer. (If you wish for your lines to be made in a different colour, please add it as a note when you checkout, or contact us prior to purchasing)

Lastly, the fitting kit includes bolts that are high tensile M12x1.25 coupled with quality spring washers.

The discs included in the kit are 340mm and are available in a grooved, hooked or drilled finish.

This kit is offered with the option of no brake pads, however there is a wide range in the dropdown available to suit many different use cases.

At a bare minimum, this kit includes...

2x Aston Martin / Brembo 4 piston calipers

2x VBT Caliper carriers

2x Front brake discs, in your choice of finish

1x Set of HEL braided front brake lines

4x Caliper to carrier bolts

4x Spring washers for the caliper to carrier bolts

To complete this front brake kit you will need:

1x Set of brake pads to suit your driving style

Brake fluid to flush the system when installing

- The calipers are available from Aston Martin in a few other colours, including grey, yellow and silver - We don't offer them on this listing in these colours. - This kit includes braided front brake lines, they will always be supplied in black. Unless, you specify  otherwise, You can let us know either in the notes section when you order through the website, at checkout. Or, by contacting us prior to purchasing. (The cost of braided front brake lines is included in the kit, the link above serves only to show colours available, so if you purchase the DB9 brake kit you do not then need to add braided brake lines also to your basket!!)

- If you opt for the custom caliper option, then please be aware there will be a lead time as the calipers will need to be sent away for painting / customisation to your specifications - This usually adds 2-3 weeks to the lead time. - Due to the width of the DB9 caliper compared to most standard calipers. When using most factory VAG OEM wheels you will require spacers to clear the new calipers - Aftermarket Wheels will depend on the offset / wheel and may still require spacers. Spacers are not included in the kit, but we do sell separately - Here- You may need to test fit the new caliper on your vehicle first and offer up the wheel to determine what size spacer you will require.

Alternatively, a template is available for printing to mock up in the back of your wheel, to help you determine what size spacer you may require before purchasing the kit / spacers - Please see the F.A.Q's & Guides section of our website to download a copy of the template - Here
