Elring Gearbox End Cap For DQ381 7 speed DSG - 914-050
This part produced by Elring is not currently offered by the VAG group as a genuine replacement item. The VW/Audi group currently state on DQ381 7 speed DSG gearboxes if a leak is present from these end caps that the official / warranty fix is to replace the gearbox. Thats all well and good if your vehicle is in warranty and umodified, but when the vehicle is modified or out of warranty then that isnt a largely appealing 'repair' for something so simple as a slight oil leak.
The genuine parts do come from factory with a part number printed on them, usually either 0GC301125A or 0GC301125B. However neither part number exists to puchase from the VAG group at this time.
In the 5th image on this listing, you can see the side profile of a DQ381 gearbox. This part number is the larger of the seals and x2 are fitted per gearbox.
