LITTCO L500 MQB Hybrid Turbo
The L500 is the top spec complete IS series Hybrid.
Designed to make 500bhp from less than 2bar this turbo is ideal for anyone wanting to reach 500bhp with reliability.
54mm exclusive billet compressor wheel, using 7+7 blade configuration
Custom turbine with a 9 bladed high flow profile
Custom made turbine housing, made specifically for LITTCO, made in the same stainless steel material as the original
Custom compressor cover, made of solid aluminium ( no oem insert)
CNC machined housings to exact specifications
The most important part of all LITTCO turbos are the upgraded thrust bearing. These are used throughout the range and offer a 144% increase in size and load area. We have moved away from the original design due to there potential to fail when used at high boost levels . LITTCO designed and developed the thrust bearings to fit directly into the existing bearing housings but still offer the stronger thrust force resistance seen in other turbos.
VSR balanced above OE standards. LITTCO typically aim to get all turbos below 0.5g upto a max of 130,000rpm which far exceeds the OE standards of 1g/1.5g
If you choose the option with actuator the one supplied is a genuine item with part number 06K145725T. The actuator supplied with this option will not be fitted to the turbo and will need to set be set up upon installation.
