Like on all earlier 2.0TFSi engines, the stock intake cam has been known to fail due to improper hardness during the manufacturing process. The lobe that the fuel pump follower rides on can wear down over time and cause the fuel pump to be overworked causing it to overheat and seize up. Once this happens, the side cover on the cylinder head breaks off the head causing major damage and very expensive repair costs.
Before this happens to your engine, replace it with this latest revision camshaft. It fixes this common problem and can save you thousands in repair costs.

Before returning any goods please read all our terms and conditions. AKS Tuning must be informed in writing of any items that you wish to return for credit or exchange within 7 working days commencing the day of delivery. Returns will not be accepted under any circumstance 28 days after delivery.
Please note there is a £1.20 refund fee and we can not reimburse any postage costs.
