AKS "Push Clutch To Start" Bypass Harness

The AKS push to start bypass harness stops you having to press the clutch to start the engine on a large variety of the EA113 TFSI and EA888.1 TSI VAG platforms. Minimising the amount of time your foot is on the clutch pedal without needing to be, helps prevent premature thrust washer wear from lack of lubrication on engine start up, which is a big problem on the TFSi engines due to a poor OEM thrust washer design that in some cases can cause crank walk, and worst case engine destruction.

Fitting the harness involves unplugging the electrical plug to the clutch switch, plugging it into the harness, then plugging the harness into the clutch switch. No cutting/soldering is required, and is reversible if you ever decide to change back to the OE function / remove to install in another vehicle etc.

This product will not fit any MQB platform vehicles!

This harness will not work on cars with stop/start technology or with electronic handbrakes.
